In
the heart of Düsseldorf is the privately owned Batavia Hotel located. It
is only a five minute walk to the Königsallee, the most famous shopping street
in Düsseldorf with elegant shopping arcades. From there one can easily
get to the "Altstadt", the old quarter of the city with many cosy
pubs. Or just a few meters from the hotel to the ethnic Schumacher-Brewery with
typical local german food.
